Vista Setup : $90 service fee to get Vista running smoothly, if older computer and hardware, contact me first for quote.

Network Setup: $60 for full physical setup,
$20 each additional hour to complete setup OR to repair an existing network.
Home networks only, includes home computers and video game consoles.
(Please be aware that setup of a home network for multiple computers or gaming systems such as Xbox, Xbox 360, Playstation 2, Playstation 3 or Nintendo Wii may require additional supply purchases such as routers and cables.) one router supported per household.

Small business networks are supported at additional fees. Call for a pricequote.

Data Recovery: $70.
I charge $30 for the initial attempt if data cannot be recovered. Upon data recovery completion, the charge is $70 plus cost of materials (if any). If the drive is too badly damaged, you will be referred to DriveSavers.

What I can do, what I can work on:
I work on computers that are 1.4ghz and above. This means computers since 2001 or 2002.
For owners of computers prior to 2002 who wish to repair,
it is going to be cheaper for you to simply upgrade, please see the Buildit page.
I prefer the Windows XP operating system, but will work with Windows 98 and above.
I do not work on newer Apple computers, but I can work on older Macintosh systems.
I do some work on Ubuntu Linux operating system.

I do work with desktop pc's and laptop pc's.
I do software and hardware support for desktop pc's.
I do some laptop hardware support for laptops, depending on the situation and the need.
I do laptop software support, including installation,
antivirus/antispyware and memory installation, as well as software and hardware upgrades, and much much more!

I have built computers in Salem Oregon since 1998.
